Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to sell you a digital product and get you access to it. We don't run ad trackers, we don't sell or rent your information to anyone, and we don't load third-party scripts that watch you browse. This page explains exactly what happens with your data and why.

What we collect, and why

Payment and order information. When you buy something, checkout is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your card details and billing information directly — this site and its owner never see or store your full card number. We receive your email address and order details from Stripe so we can deliver your product and provide support.
Email address. Used to send your access link and license token after purchase, and to respond if you contact us. We don't add purchasers to a marketing list without a separate, clear opt-in.
Product usage (inside The Prompt Forge itself). Your progress — XP, ranks, unlocked skills, notes — is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is not uploaded to us. When you submit a prompt for AI coaching, that prompt text is sent to power the scoring feature and is processed only to generate your feedback.

What we don't do

We don't use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or similar third-party trackers on this site.
We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with data brokers or advertisers.
We don't load fonts or other assets from third-party CDNs that could log your visit — the fonts on this site are hosted here, not fetched from Google or anyone else.
We don't require you to create an account or hand over more information than checkout needs.

Cookies and local storage

This site itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Stripe's checkout page (hosted on stripe.com, not this domain) sets cookies necessary for processing your payment securely — see Stripe's own privacy policy below. If you purchase The Prompt Forge, the product uses your browser's local storage to save your game progress on your device; this is not a tracking cookie and is not accessible to other sites.

Third parties we rely on

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Reviewing Stripe's Privacy Policy is the best way to understand how they handle payment data. AI coaching inside the product is powered by a third-party AI provider, used solely to score the prompts you submit for feedback.

How long we keep data

We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and support purposes, and no longer than legally required. You can ask us to delete personal information we hold that isn't required for those purposes — see below.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@promptforge.ca and we'll respond as promptly as we can.

Children's privacy

This site and its products are not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
